Ordessa Manager for AI assistants
Read and edit your shop's catalogue by asking for it in plain language. The assistant acts as your Ordessa account, and Ordessa checks every change against what your role allows.
The address
Every assistant connects to the same address:
https://mcp.ordessa.org/managerStep-by-step: ChatGPT · Claude. Any other assistant that connects to remote MCP servers with OAuth can use the address as well. Nothing needs installing.
What you can ask
- Find products by what they are: "which of our products are vegan?"
- Explain a listing: its price, its recipe, what a customer can leave off or add.
- Change prices and availability, at one shop or many.
- Create and edit products, sections, ingredients and option groups — sauces, toppings, preparation methods.
- Translate the catalogue into Dutch, English, French and German.
- Make many changes as one: either all of them are applied, or — if any is refused — none is.
What it cannot do
- See or change orders, customers or payments.
- Upload pictures, change opening hours or manage people's accounts. Use the Ordessa Manager app for those.
- Reach another company's catalogue, or do anything your own account could not do in Ordessa Manager.
What keeps it safe
- You connect it yourself, on an Ordessa page that shows which application is asking and what it will be allowed to do.
- Staff accounts can only read. A manager or owner can be granted editing as well.
- Every change goes through the same checks as Ordessa Manager: your role, your company, and the catalogue's own rules.
- Deleting anything is marked as such, so the assistant asks you to confirm before it happens.
- Ordessa receives only the tool calls the assistant makes — never your conversation.
- Disconnect at any time in Ordessa Manager, under AI assistants. It takes effect at the next request.
